I like the look of the house, but before the construction of an "I want to know whether there are advantages and disadvantages of the year living in a log cabin.
Any opinions, advice on building a quality home? Kit homes are recommended? Thank you!

Maintenance costs are significantly higher. That is the nature of building materials, wood is simply not as durable as stone.

My good friend at work, built a log cabin Absolutley great future, and regrets that were ever built. Everything to do with maintenance and insurance.
